Many thinks arthritis is one of the most responsive conditions to magnetic therapy bracelets. So many of our customers have told us so that we stopped counting.

Magnetic therapy bracelets have been used for thousands of years as an addition complimentary therapy for pain relief, and today there is an increasing acceptance of the benefits of magnetic bracelets for treating pain, through word of mouth by buyers, recommendations and academic studies.

A 2001 study of 64 patients with rheumatoid arthritis of the knee showed that about 68% of those who used magnetic therapy reported feeling much better after just one week. A 2004 study which was funded by the Arthritis Research Campaign looked at 194 patients aged 45 -80 with osteoarthritis of the hip or knee. The researchers found that those who wore magnetic bracelets for 12 weeks had a decrease in arthritis associated pain.

Osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis in the UK with over 8.5 million people affected by the condition. Other common types of arthritis include rheumatoid arthritis and gout. Which ever arthritis it is, magnetic bracelets and magnetic therapy may have beneficial effect.

It is estimated that one in three people will suffer with arthritis at some point in their lives and the use of magnetic bracelets and magnetic therapy plays a positive role in easing arthritis pains. Magnetic therapy in bracelets and wraps with magnets is a natural way to treat arthritis. Small, usually rare earth high strength magnets are used in the bracelets or wraps are placed on the body near the main arteries or as close to the source of pain.

The magnetic field generated by the magnets penetrate through the skin and deep into the tissues and blood stream, it is believed that the damaged cells around the inflammation react to the magnetic field by realigning their ions into the correct position. That causes the inflammation to reduce and the damage caused by the inflammation begins to be repaired by a fresh and rich supply of oxygen and nutrients. The cells starts to heal, and tissue regeneration begins.

Magnetic bracelets are not the only form of magnetic therapy, as magnets can be applied in many forms. Magnetic support wraps are useful as they can be placed sometimes nearer pain, and provide extra benefits with they support they provides.
